Programming project of the Municipal Archive of Lisbon – Video library , the cycle ” Imaginary Topographies ” intends to think and to discover the ways in which film not only depicts but reinvents Lisbon.
Each year, a theme will provoke a discussed viewing of films with the participation of a scholar of the theme in question and the director of the film shown or another guest who can discuss about it . To begin with, in 2015 we will focus on that which is perhaps the most powerful encounter with regard to the ways in which films imagine places : the encounter between cinema and architecture.
